I don't like Biden, I don't like Trump. Biden made around $9 million and Trump made around $2.5 million massaging big pharma's dick. Trump said "get the vaccine! it's good!" I can't stand either of these clowns. I'm a proud libertarian, live free or die, fuck these greasy politicians, fuck this two party system.
You really gotta cut Trump some slack on the vaccine...
Do the math here, they knew the mail in voting scam was in play, Trump was out there front and center telling the entire world that the election would be a historic shitshow of fraud and corruption. He pushed the vax because he knew if it came into EUA under his admin he could make it a choice and not a mandate. If he did nothing biden steals the election and gets his buddies at the CDC and the FDA to handwave the vax through with non-EUA approval and then force it on everyone like they are trying to do right now.
Trump couldn't stop it, but he slowed it way the fuck down, he flattened the tires and sugared the tank but these fucks had plenty of money to send it to the shop and get up and running again.
Trump bought us time.
He also had to deal with dozens of snakes in the grass who were lying to him, feeding him dogshit info, lying to him, backstabbing him...
Remember when we all thought the FDA and the CDC actually had a shred of credibility left and we thought vents were a smart move? Now we know that the vents just blow peoples lungs out, but back then it was this big national emergency because "everyone is going to need vents and we don't have enough to go around"... it was literally the basis for "flatten the curve".
They lied to him about that, they lied to him about everything, and i think at the end of the day Trump was trying to do the right thing with information from people he trusted to not be murdering scumbag pieces of shit (who were).
Trump isn't perfect, he's super old school and he got a few things wrong. During that period of time when he was considering banning e-cigs i spent a lot of time on the phone with anyone who would listen from his administration trying to talk some sense into them, but Trump has no clue wtf a vape is, he doesn't have any experience with that entire industry... all he knew is the "experts" were telling him that vapes were killing children, so he started to act on it.
He didn't want to ban vapes because he was getting paid off by big tobacco, but he was unknowingly taking bad advice from people who were.
As a libertarian you should know that we've been shackled to this 2 party system for most of our countries history and there isn't a whole lot that can change that... but you should at least appreciate the most non-politician we've ever had sitting in that seat... at least enough to not lump him in with the rest of the swamp rat scumbags that have sold us out to the CCP and megacorps.
I hear ya, buddy, but I'm not supporting trump because of the two-party system, I'm supporting him, because overall he did a good job, which is something I can't honestly say about other presidents in the modern era. They run the gambit from almost mediocre to "christ, why did anyone vote for him?"
And yeah, Trump supports the jabs, but a) he supports voluntary adoption, which I can respect, and b)I'm not gonna throw out the baby with the bathwater over one issue.
Just saying, until there's a Rand/Ron paul ticket, it's gonna be a mite hard to get someone better than trump
Well he is the most anti globalist president.. but he has a lot of faults. lots. But you must remember Trump wanted to use the military to administer the vaccines "operation warp speed".
Sure, and he sent a naval hospital ship to new york at the start of COVID when we legit thought it was gonna be a disaster.
I'm just saying there's a difference between using the military to streamline distribution and threatening people's livelihoods if they refuse to take it.
Hell, he's criticized forced vaccination at least once, probably many times that I know of. One of his not tweets from his website got posted either on here or on c/thedonald a couple months ago about it...
Administer but not force it on the American people
Doesnβt matter at this point as we donβt know the entire picture. We arenβt putting up with this racist vaccine crap and it has nothing to do with Trump. Great post!
Maybe he said that because he thought the military would have more secure distribution than pharmaceutical companies. As one theory goes, if any batches of vaccines were somehow purposefully tainted after the initial launch, it would fall back on big pharma since Trump's plan wasn't carried out. If the military had controlled the distribution and administration, perhaps we wouldn't be seeing the death and injuries we're now seeing. It's just a theory though. Thanks for bringing up that point.
I supported Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012, but who should I have preferred to Trump in 2016? Gary Johnson?! lol
Gary "what is Aleppo?" Johnson?!
Gary with the 420 nope scope.
