This has been my field for 25 years. I can't go to another company because they're all in the same boat. My skills don't translate into other areas very well and I will not be able to find anything more than an entry level spot somewhere. That ain't gonna pay the bills so everything I have worked all my life for will be lost. Can't touch my 401K for another year. Caring for my 80-something mother and helpng my daughter keep her roof over her head for my grandson's sake. I see life in my comfy little bubble collapsing by the new year.

Why do some fed govt workers get exempt and others dont? It should be all or none. Congress is exempt, why discriminate against your area of work?

Good luck fren! I've asked questions because I have worked from home since I joined the company over a decade ago. I've only been in the office as a courtesy less than 10 times in that 10+ years. I am no threat to my colleagues. That means nothing to Pedo Joe though.
I know my immediate team will fight for me because I have a lot of knowledge that can't be replicated by anyone. But their opinion means nothing if the company does not want to help me. A company who I helped grow into a $1B organization.
I guarantee, my company laptop will be wiped clean before I turn it in. They will get no benefit of all my work if they let me go. I know how much $$ they'll lose.
Stand your ground, fren! My hubby works for a large defense contractor. He has a very specific skill and knowledge base. Everyone working from home, except for the occasional meeting. If they mandate, he's out, and they can't really afford to lose him. We will see.
unless this shit stops soon i will have to take the shot for my family. I will be ending my life with a medical rape. Yea I was even going to move out of country but I cant let my family lose everything. Yea I am hoping that there is some thing that can save me....looking into religious exemption. They better fucking honor my life insurance.

Thanks u/gobby but I couldn't download. It won't help. The company is against the mandates but the government is writing the terms into all contracts. Since we do a billion dollars a year with the Fed, they aren't going to jeopardize that for a handful of people who have sense.
But the affidavit uses the governments own laws to refute the legality of the mandates.
But it won't download for me. Our legal team believes the mandates to be illegal but won't fight.
