Last supper
1 Corinthians 11:24-25
Now I’m fairly new to the church I’m currently going to. They do the last supper quarterly. From what I’m told. The preacher mentioned several scriptures, and talked about how to serve each other, etc, etc. And I remember the verse I posted. When Jesus spoke. Our preacher addressed the congregation about taking the Lord supper in a serious manner. Not just a random thing. And to make sure biblically baptized, and such. First time I had heard that. So they took it pretty serious. So no, not just drinking wine and eating crackers.
Honestly, it seems kind of stupid to trust some guy who is trying to interpret something 2,000 years after it was written instead of following the tradition of those who walked with Jesus, as recorded in documents from 50-70 years after His ascension.
I am referring to all of the apostles who passed the tradition on to their successors, who passed them on to their successors etc. It’s a more credible account than some guy attempting to decipher it 2k yrs later
Celebrating the last supper, you say?
Do you discern the body of Christ as Paul instructed? Or do you just eat bread and wine?
Book of Revelations yes. About the letters.

What guy are you referring too? John the Apostle?
