She weighed wanting to help at her kids school and the fact that her religious leaders (archbishop Etienne and the local priest) were telling her the only way she’s allowed is if she gets the shot.
It was a judgment call that she was coerced into. Her supposed religious leaders whom she should be able to trust coerced her into it.
I’ve been in discussion today with another Catholic Church follower like this woman here, explaining not to give trust in man. Not to give faith in those priests. Thank them for their service, fine. Give thanks to the Lord for having those who can help teach the gospel to you. But those titles, lineage, ranks...are nothing. Give trust and faith to God. Follow Jesus. He is the only way. I think people forget, priest are the ones that crucified Jesus. I mean we all helped, because of our sins. But they actually begged for Jesus to be crucified. Man makes mistakes. It’s why we cannot trust our fellow man. Love them. Pray for them. But give your trust to the Father. And not some guy who titles himself “Father”. There is only one Father, and He is in Heaven. She fell victim of trusting man. Giving faith to her priest for guidance.
And also from the article. “God’s kingdom here on Earth”....God’s kingdom is not on Earth. It’s in Heaven.
I’m sorry Jessica. May God watch over your family in your absence. Let our mistakes be learned by our children to help guide them towards only trusting you Lord. Our Father in Heaven. As for titles and lineage, Christ set up the church and instructed the apostles in administration of the sacraments. The bishops are appointed and ordained all the way back to the apostles as Christ instructed through sacred tradition. If your catholic friend doesn’t recognize apostolic succession, she is in error. It’s one thing to recognize that humans are flawed; it’s another to deny apostolic succession.

If you don’t understand that then you don’t understand the term “coercion.”
