I always find it amusing when the elites talk about overpopulation in general terms when just two countries have more than 1/3 of the worlds population. Who's overpopulated? Because it sure as shit isn't Australia.
Exactly. I have to physically show lefties on google maps just how much of our nation is urbanized. Even places like India or Japan that have the highest population densities, have vast swaths of land surrounding its cities. If you look at your local land fill, it probably occupies less than 1/1000th of the area it serves! And we can continually stack our trash almost infinitely by sustainably burying it in layers and using the excess dirt to fill in wetlands or valleys nearby.
Some nations may need birth limits, but that's up to its citizens to vote on it and pass it legislatively. NOT through forced sterilization and mass killings! If Democrats want less people, then push for a bill to limit women from having more than 2 children? But notice they never do this because they know it will piss off a certain voting bloc.
The only real limitations are: food and water. the use of feedlots that expends 9 gallons of water and 1 pound of grain to produce 1 pound of meat need to be reduced in order to feed and water the human race 1st. Land is plentiful but sacrificing National Parks for the greater good reduces that which makes us human..
sauce for above?? Diet For a New America Mr. Robbins (of the ice cream dynasty)..
Robbins tells the truth about the feedlots, but he also lies through omission.
He does not talk about regenerative farming or any of the techniques that lead to healthier soils and more food abundance.
He promotes the horrific vegetarian diet and the soil-destroying methods used by those farmers. Veganism destroys the soil, and poor soil destroys the planet.
It's been awhile since I read his stuff, and he suckered me in for awhile. However, his work is based on being an heir to the Baskin-Robbins fortune, and his guilt about it. His facts are incomplete and often wrong.
True, but technology has changed much since he wrote the book and it was a LONG time ago when I read it.
I am a vegetarian and view veganism a bit too extreme for people. As to my post that garnered 2 negatives vvv:
I have a newspaper entry from a flakey writer that tried to shame hunters for killing precious critters when they can go to a store where no animals were harmed.
My comments about new technology applies to the post about aquaponics.
My horror at lab grown meat holds just because whoever is developing it CAN alter it to do nefarious things. If Gates is involved....nuff said.
There are farming methods, like aquaponics, that even people who live in apts. can utilize. The water recirculates and fish are grown at the same time as veg. and or fruit plants. But it's easier to go to the grocery store.
The first requires education so the people won't assume meat is made at the butcher shop, so no need to kill animals. Gardening requires patience and good practices.
the second is now being done and it IS an abomination. I can think of the unintended consequences of GMO "meat" that can alter humans..

I do, too. They've been crying about "overpopulation" since the 1960s. It isn't any more a problem now than it was then.
Humans currently occupy something like 0.3% of the earth's land mass.
The earth is not now, has never been, and never will be overpopulated. That is a stupid myth used by anti-humanists as a weapon against our species.

If the Globalists REALLY believe in depopulation, they would kill themselves.

Assuming sufficient irrigation, food plants can be effectively grown inside giant glass skyscrapers within cities, reducing distribution problems
Growing real meat in a lab can't be far off....just grow the body parts humans need to eat, not the whole cow LOL
