It's truly a shame that the corruption of the Catholic church splintered Christianity into these loose, easily misguided denominations controlled by wealthy families and provocateurs. Had things simply remained as they were before the schism of the east and west...
In the bible it teaches that man, God's Creation is higher than the angels. We don't pray to angels, period. I've heard of legions of demons though. Very strange indeed! Oh Lord, protect us from deceivers......
Revelation 19:10
10 At that I fell down before his feet to worship him. But he tells me: “Be careful! Do not do that! I am only a fellow slave of you and of your brothers who have the work of witnessing concerning Jesus. Worship God! For the witness concerning Jesus is what inspires prophecy.”
Fren please read these scriptures:
“If you ask the Father for anything, he will give it to you in my name.”—John 16:23.
“No one comes to the Father except through me,” said Jesus.—John 14:6.
Jesus’ words clearly show that Jehovah/Yahweh/God wants us to pray to him, not through images, saints, angels, or departed ancestors, but in the name of Jesus Christ. When we pray to God in Jesus’ name, we show that we recognize the vital role of Jesus.
I pray to God and while I am praying to Him I praise Jesus and thank Him for His sacrifice. I do not pray to anyone else. I cannot get to God unless Jesus's blood cover my sin. I have repented and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Savior.
When I pray I speak directly to the Lord. Jesus did not teach us to add "in Jesus name I pray"." I guess I just speak to Him and when I am speaking to Him I am speaking to both the Father and the Son, they are one.
I hope that these scriptures will help you see that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three separate beings.
Acts 7:55-56
55 But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand, 56 and he said: “Look! I see the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand.”
John 17:3
3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
John 14:28
28 You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am.
Jesus clearly states that he is not God and that God is greater than him.
When you show an edited clip and then say someone didn't say something, it makes me wonder how you know Gen Flynn "didn't pray in the name of Jesus."
He very well could have started the prayer in Jesus name. In the clip you showed Flynn states, "We pray in your name (sounds like a reference to using the Lord's name previously), and in the name of your legions..."
That's very fair, I will try to find full video. Would like to say that calling it edited though isn't something I would consider it. It just being a clip from a greater length. No edits made
I do not like that one bit. I looked it up to see if I could find the biblical context of "in the name of your legions" and nothing positive came back.
I've always been curious what made certain protestant sects think they need to speak for Jesus Christ himself with this "in Jesus name we pray," in front of the masses as spectators. I would suggest to pray in no name but your own, as Jesus commands.
Read Matthew 6. American Standard version for simplicity -
And when ye pray, ye shall not be as the hypocrites: for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee. And in praying use not vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us this day [b]our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (5-15)
Nothing strikes me more than how vain "christians" are so quick to call out other men of Christ for not conforming to their standards. Church mice are not royalty - in fact, these people accomplish what Satan can't, by simply using their pretentious false 'zeal' to teach their fellow men to hate them, and by extension, their beliefs.
Refer to Jerry Falwell Jr. Perfect representative of Corruption in American churches - and a cuck who liked to watch his wife get fucked by the pool boy.
“Take care not to practice your righteousness in front of men to be noticed by them; otherwise you will have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. 2 So when you make gifts of mercy, do not blow a trumpet ahead of you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 3 But you, when making gifts of mercy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your gifts of mercy may be in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you. 5 “Also, when you pray, do not act like the hypocrites, for they like to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the main streets to be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your private room and, after shutting your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you. 7 When praying, do not say the same things over and over again as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words. 8 So do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need even before you ask him. 9 “You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. 10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth. 11 Give us today our bread for this day; 12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver* us from the wicked one.’* 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; 15 whereas if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. 16 “When you fast, stop becoming sad-faced like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so they may appear to men to be fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 17 But you, when fasting, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that you may not appear to be fasting to men but only to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you. 19 “Stop storing up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Rather, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If, then, your eye is focused, your whole body will be bright.* 23 But if your eye is envious, your whole body will be dark. If the light that is in you is really darkness, how great that darkness is! 24 “No one can slave for two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. You cannot slave for God and for Riches. 25 “On this account I say to you: Stop being anxious about your lives as to what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your bodies as to what you will wear. Does not life mean more than food and the body than clothing? 26 Observe intently the birds of heaven;h they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they are? 27 Who of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his life span? 28 Also, why are you anxious about clothing? Take a lesson from the lilies of the field, how they grow; they do not toil, nor do they spin; 29 but I tell you that not even Solʹo·mon in all his glory was arrayed as one of these. 30 Now if this is how God clothes the vegetation of the field that is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much rather clothe you, you with little faith? 31 So never be anxious and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or, ‘What are we to drink?’ or, ‘What are we to wear?’ 32 For all these are the things the nations are eagerly pursuing. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 “Keep on, then, seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you. 34 So never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties. Each day has enough of its own troubles.
I'm quite iffy on General Flynn, especially after I saw him appear with Kenneth Copeland who is obviously a false teacher. I guess they're both into this 7 streams of light mumbo jumbo. This doesn't mean he isn't on our side or that he doesn't love our nation, but I don't see him as I once did.
The demon in the Bible called itself legion because it wasn't one entity but many, it even gives that exact reason for using the word "Because we are many".
Flynn is talking about the many entities that serve God perfectly and unquestionably called angels, which are holy and in perfect communion with Him, we absolutely can call on them and they have names.
I think you are really reaching he was clearly praying to god
I thought Megatron was a transformer?
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6.

Whoa was generalizing. Don't make it personal.

The context here is an angel talking to John
I hope this scripture will help you.
Our God is a jealous God and commands we only pray to him through Jesus his son.
Yes but the bible teaches us to pray to God through Jesus.
Jesus teaches to pray directly to the father. He went off on his own to pray to the Lord. He taught us the Lord's Prayer which goes directly to Him.

In Jesus name. Amen.

Agreed. I just meant it started mid prayer and not the beginning. Clipped not edited? Either way. Thanks for posting.
Legion Prayers and Seven Fold Rays seem to be something from Catholicism. https://www.legionofmary.ie/prayers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_rays
As someone else said this is an excerpt not the whole thing.
Also who are the attenders at this event?
I do not like that one bit. I looked it up to see if I could find the biblical context of "in the name of your legions" and nothing positive came back.
Matthew 26:53
God has legions, nothing to worry about fren
Legion in the bible isn't something I'd want to be praying to lol

He calls on the power of God and the power of his angels.
“I’m your name, and in the name of your legions”
Nothing.

The angels Jesus rules over. We know this

Cool frens, I was just confused and asking for insight. Thanks for the replies!
