Why is there welfare collection to begin with. Give these people jobs. Here's a fucking idea, how about you get them to unload cargo ships...
No kidding, I can't stay the plant I work for but yet these people are sucking up tax money like it's water
Because there are people who legitimately cannot work at a job due to actual physical and/or mental conditions. I have them in my family.
Lots of jobs can be done from wheelchairs, desks, modified dutys. You also don't have to be a brain surgeon to mop floors or serve sammiches. Unless you are bedridden or in a vegatative state you can perform tasks that are useful to society.
Yes lots of jobs can be done from a wheelchair, etc. That does not mean that everyone is capable of working.
Like I said bedridden or vegetative state are basically the only time a person "can't" work. Other than that, they are choosing not to work. I have no issues with wage subsidies for people actually falling on hard times or struggling to make ends meet while working their ass off. Unfortunately those people generally tend to get overlooked and priority is given to people wanting to sit on their ass and look for a handout.
Sorry wrong BBBZZZZZTTT but thanks for playing. I know people with degenerative diseases who are not bedridden and not vegetative but still cannot work. You are generalizing way too much here. There is a lot more to the world that just what you want to be true.
You seem to know a lot of useless people. I'm sure you fit right in. π€‘
Yeah sure. Fuck you too. Multiple sclerosis is a bitch. Maybe some day you'll find out and grow up to be a real adult.
This is actually very practical. Anyone wasting away on drugs is not demonstrating a likelyhood of getting a stable job and off of welfare anytime soon. People should be required to be off illegal drugs to collect welfare.
Then they'd be productive citizens and wouldn't need welfare. Win win
I'm OK with this as long as we can change the definition of "illegal drugs" to exclude naturally derived medicines such as THC. IMO, nothing wrong with a little pot to calm the nerves and I hate that choosing to use it, even if in moderation, automatically disqualifies perfectly good people from all kinds of high paying jobs.
These kinds of determinations should take into account whether the person is a casual/medicinal user vs abuser.
How about heroin and cocaine? Both naturally derived. Peyote? And there are others.
Honestly as long as its not affecting job performance what's the issue? We all agree the government shouldn't be able to force anyone to get an injection no matter what it is, so why are we OK saying anyone can restrict you from imbibing certain substances in your spare time? Personally I think there should be no restrictions (obvious exceptions for operating heavy equipment and anything that could endanger others, but again, doing it in the privacy of your own home should be no one's business but your own).
Because honest taxpayers end up footing the bill.
I'd be willing to compromise on that, but I wonder about people that need mind altering chemicals just to fill in some spare time. Only in the most dire personal circumstances can I understand someone needing something like THC or alcohol to ease emotional/psychological pain so they can survive the evening. Highs or drunkenness should not be forms of recreation.
That's a matter of opinion, and if we are free, we have the right to make those choices, including self-medicating with whatever is available. Also, many so-called "illegal" substances have more than just "recreational" uses.
Just so long as they can act responsibly while using, such as no driving under the influence, etc.
We'd just have to pay for those too at x300 the price. Irrc, Bush Sr. made millions off the companies making these tests.
No. Test no one! No mass testing. Period.
.
In today's economy there is literally NO excuse for any able-bodied person to not have a job. Companies in every industry and sector are hurting so badly for workers, and that includes both skilled and unskilled workers.
Anyone choosing to live on welfare right now is a parasitic leach and nothing more.
Typical divisive tactics.
Getting pissed off at the people taking advantage of the system instead of the architects that created it.
Look here, not there.
There really is a TDW "leak" going on here lately!
No, it points out the arcbitects have a fucked design. And the welfare recipients have divided themselves off willing to take your money.
Damn thatβs real
Yeah, im Over taxes. When you get a ten percent universal sales tax u can get some from me.
10 percent because no government should get more money than we are required to give God through tithes and offerings.
