Someone here said that the horse paste even works if rubbed into the skin. I don't have any first-hand experience with that, so I am just passing this on. But if that is true, a relative like this woman's daughter could feign a desire to visit with her mother, hold her hand, etc. and rub the ivermectin into the skin. Absolutely ridiculous that it comes to this, but needs must.
Not sure I agree. I’m not advocating for people to use transdermal ivermectin, but the “pour on” variety is made for systemic infections just like the injectable or oral.
Correct...the "pour on" is made for systemic infections on the skin. Hence "pour on". Do take my advice and do NOT ingest the topical version. This is how people make the news who are hell-bent to prove ivermectin is killing people.
No, it treats systemic infections in the entire body. The topical formulation is made to absorb transdermally and work just like the other forms. The problem is bovine skin and human skin are not the same (so it’s difficult to precisely dose in humans) and you shouldn’t consume the topical formulation ever.
I see. Well, this person (might have been taffy33 but I don't remember for sure) said that their friend was doing it and it was effective. I don't know why the friend chose to do it that way, but supposedly it worked. I would think if someone was terrified of ingesting it, at least it might help a little to take it that way. Supposedly the skin around your navel is very responsive to absorbing it properly.

Topically it is meant for rashes, skin infections, and the like. It will not be as effective as an anti-viral/anti-bacterial if not ingested.

It is a well known topical treatment for scabies and lice.
It isn’t used topically per se. It is dumped on and absorbed and kills internal and external critters.
It’s not like a cream or ointment. For fucks sake, why are people arguing. Look it up.
