You can look at this tech, and know immediately they will be used to terminate freedoms of humans at some point. why can't we as humans see things, look into the future use in the worst way, and just stop the development of it.
I studied computer science in university. There is no stopping it. Young engineers and researchers will do anything to be a part of something. Doesn't matter if it's pure rotten, they will die to get in.
I left that god forsaken city months ago and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. You can feel it everywhere. The universities, hospitals, “elected” officials. It hangs thick in the air.
The dude in the khaki pants is limping like one of em got ahold of him... maybe it was this one

They look sinister.
I know these things are probably armored, and have a mechanism to right themselves if turned over. How would you defeat one before it did bodily harm to you...maybe by shooting a weapon at you?

Snares, nets, and pits may neutralize early versions.
Something that sprayed sticky foamed that gummed up quickly might help. Didn't Martha Stewart have a good recipe for pumpkin spiced Napalm?
If they rig these things with guns, what then? Run? Nothing short of a grenade (with collateral damage) will disrupt the mechanical side of things.
Cars are weapons too. Basically make a fleet of drone cars
Wow...the visuals from all this are mind-boggling!!
Let's say they rig them with waxx darts for the slow kill. Either way they will be fierce opponents. But they need to discern combatant from non-combatant unless it is after curfew or something. Countermeasures will evolve. Maybe balloons filled with paint could disorient.
Something tells me Limpy McGee is the evil mastermind behind them. Isn't that how Hollywood would do it?
