You gotta be quick to catch it. It's visible just as the parachutes are flattening. Maybe you can't tell on a phone...I'm using a computer monitor. Anyway, you couldn't bring something like that down on two 'chutes. It'd spin and swing like crazy.
It looks to me like it might be one in front of the other, aka 3, not 2. This is not conclusive evidence.
Yeah, I watched it through four times. You are right -- one of the parachutes is in front of the other. In the final frames, three tethers are seen.

Fair enough, I'm honestly not bothered either way, if you see three chutes that's great. I just see two, no problem.
