The roads, yes. and Yikes. I drive two-lane back roads all the time (and love doing so) but even before this vax nightmare, the danger of some distracted idiot picking the wrong moment to check their phone made me concerned for safety. I wonder what the odds are now relative to before; it can't be good.
You are far less likely to have a 'forgettable' plane crash than a 'forgettable' car crash.
I know. "Flying is the safest way to fly" (Steve Martin? Shelly Berman?) But I hate flying and love driving, go figure.
I'd rather not have either.
