Hey guys. I might have my first engineering job offer shortly and they emailed me in regards to following Biden’s vaccine decree even though the position is completely remote. They sent me an email saying they allow exemptions, so if anyone who has gotten a religious exemption can you please guide me with writing what I am supposed to write. I am not religious but I have been on and off vegan for the last 3 years and do not use any medication because I prefer natural remedies (yes I know I am retarded). I believe this builds a case for a belief but I have no clue what I should be typing up. I also have some potential genetic issues from my mother that I do not want the vaccine to activate but this would require confirmation from a medical professional. Thanks!

Isn’t if funny to do the “right” thing you have to bend the rules sometimes, just channel your inner Holy Spirit and get to writing! Don’t give them an excuse to say no to you, I would not use half assing veganism as an excuse. You don’t have to belong to a church at all either if that’s anything holding you back. So I say if you want to keep your bodily autonomy and you aren’t that religious... LIE! God WILL forgive you brother. Just my .02
A religious exemption is not a request. You are invoking it. This is in despite there is no law requiring mandatory vaccination for working adults. In stating this, there should be no need for a religious exemption. Invoking a religious exemption is four words. You simply declare it. Anyone can declare a religious exemption, including atheists. It is counter-productive to provide an explanation of what your beliefs are. Declare it only.
In addition, there is at such time no binding or legal Executive Order (EO). The purported EO states companies over 100 people are required to be vaxxinated by December 8th. There are 20 states that suing for an abuse of power over this vaxxine mandate.
Google "Sworn Declaration Template" find one you like and use it to submit your exemption.
filling this out is like you putting your hand on a bible and swearing into court. It has legal probative value and doesn't need a notary to sign it.
This way you will have given them a legal document when it comes time to goto court.
I use Sworn Declarations when I help Veterans fight the VA. This is one way to get "Buddy Letters" to have legal value that helps tip the scale. It's true the VA doesn't really count a buddy letter if it doesn't have legal probative value.
It's BS but it works...
Just put in that all vaccinations were tested via Aborted Fetus cell lines, and that goes against your religious beliefs. Which is true.
Even if you're not 'religious' I would have no trouble with you using the following:
Dear Brother or Sister in Christ: Thank you for reaching out! Please find below links to documents needed. The first is my signed and notarized affidavit. In addition, there are two affidavits: one for an Individual and one for Families. These affidavits must be signed by you in front of a notary. Notaries can be found in most banks, or you can find one by entering your location on: https://www.notaryrotary.com/agent/find_a_notary.asp The original notarized document should be kept in a safe place.

You will need to attach my affidavit to a copy of the affidavit you signed when being turned in to the institution requiring the paperwork. On forms that ask the question for you to explain your beliefs, the answer is “See Attached Affidavits.” My affidavit is valid in all 50 states. Please contact me with any questions. May God keep and guide you! God Bless!

At my job they aren’t allowing religious exemption unless you can prove that you have never ever taken any vaccines in your whole life. You can’t pick and choose what vaccines you are expect from.
lc.org has material that may be helpful.
There is actually case law floating out there as it relates to veganism and vaccines, sorry I don’t know the case name from the top of my head
I know in the UK Veganism is grounds for ethical exemption and I think it would probably work here too. It really is an ethical/religious position and there are animal bits in the vaccine.
This worked for me.
“ I, _______, declare religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccination mandate. Under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, I attest to having sincerely held personal religious beliefs which will not permit me to abide by this mandate.
Additionally, I am not willing to describe these personal religious beliefs for the reasonable fear that if others have knowledge of them it may engender discrimination against me and/or my family.
I am aware that reasonable accommodations may have to be made regarding this declaration of religious exemption, and am willing to discuss accommodations that would be necessary and reasonable in order to come to an agreement.
Finally, I expect this letter to remain confidential, and its contents be disclosed on to those for whom there is an express need.”
