Neither. Those are the location for the sensor that are laid in an array pattern to detect vent activity and as they transmit data, scientists use it to for different readings.
Yes, for other reasons though. I'll provide an example to you to explain how these arrays are set up and similar to what you saw on the La Palma island map. Let's look at Oak Island, in which the Lagina brothers have been attempting to locate the purported underground 'vault' that allegedly contains hidden artifacts and bullion. The swamp is the place they have been focusing their efforts. A few years ago the Lagina brother team set up an array of detonators in the drained swamp to identify any anomalies under it. This happens to be a commonly used technology in the oil industry for locating oil deposits underground. The array of detonators were set up in an specific array spaced at predetermined points and were discharged to transmit echo data to a receiving station. Since the bottom of the drained swamp was a flat plain surface, the array was set up in a rather perfect grid of detonators. The terrain determines the array. In volcanism this type of technology works in a very similar way except the detonators are not used, but instead sensors are used that receive the vibration and amplify it for transmitting via RF to a receiving station. This is where the data is used to forecast the direction and possible opening of magma vents and for other scientific purposes to better predict volcanism.
The Crete Island sensors in Greece are set up along known fault lines. No sensors can be placed in inaccessible areas like deep crevasses for example. As a result, the array grid has the appearance of 'skipping around' as it traverses back and forth along the fault line. The topography of Crete and its terrain is very different than an active volcano. Here, erosion has not yet created the escarpments found in Crete. Extinct volcanoes may have similar topography because water, earthquakes, and time has created the escarpments there.
Yep. Saw it about a week ago as I monitor earthquakes worldwide on an app I have. Not a hoax. I would add the screen shot of it, but have no idea how to. Go to the app Earthquake. Set it on 2. Find Spain, then follow OFF the coast until you find La Palma. It’s just off Tenerife’s western coast.
I’ll have a look but on my app, it gives different colours/shapes for different size, ie, small yellow dot or a large red square. So what I see on the grid pattern is overlapping small circles on top of a red square, etc. Meaning in that area they have had say a 2, then a 3, then another 2 then a 4.2 etc. And if they were monitors, it’s melting the water pipes way underground and it covers such a large area where the lava is spreading how are these monitors placed or not destroyed by the heat? I have never ever seen a grid system in all the years I have been monitoring earthquakes. I might drop Mary Greeley an email. Thanks!
Sorry, probably should have explained myself more clearly. 😊. The underground water pipes to the banana plantations in the area of the lava flow have melted. This is why they are now shipping in water.
So, I monitor volcano's and to a lesser degree, earthquakes. It's a hobby, they fascinate me. We've been watching La Palma since the day after it blew. I got on the site and saw this with my own eyes, within 6 hours of the earthquake. I have never seen anything like that. I'm not sure how it would be a hoax (image spoofed or somehow manufactured), but it was for sure odd as hell. You can look at other clusters, there was one in Greece around the same time, you don't see those patterns. My vote, is some serious fuckery going on. Purely based on watching this crap for years.
Me too Duckhunter. Mary Greeley has given some pretty accurate predictions, re the landslides, the melting underground pipes, the depth of the earthquakes bringing magma up from the mantle etc. She mainly monitors Yellowstone.
I've never watched Mary, but I will run check her out ASAP. The last 24 hours has gotten even crazier there. I'm not sure about the landslide / tsunami thing, but it is for sure looking weirder by the day. I'm hoping we don't find the answer the hard way.
Mary has a lot of scientific data available to her and she explains it clearly. She is very upset with the guy - Bushcraft Bear - that does a report 2 x daily from there saying he’s a ‘puppet for the gov’ and that it’s dangerous for people to still be on the island. He’s not a native of La Palma and only arrived there 1 year ago. She’s just put this up 1/2 hr ago. https://youtu.be/aS1b-Q7704g
Oh wow. That is not good, I watched Bear pretty regularly. I looked back at his 4 year history of bushcraft, I kinda like watching that stuff, and just figured he was doling a "norm" job of covering the volcano. I knew he was not native from that. He's obviously oblivious to any fuckery, but I'm shocked at him being a puppet. However, these days, I don't discount shit. I will watch her video and will be prepared to be pissed at Bear if that is the case. Thanks for the heads up.
Sorry for the late reply. I read that, after I posted. Then did some research. I'm still a little mixed, as I've attempted to find something to tell me, do the sensors tell the location or they are the location. Take a look at the (safe) link. I see what you are saying, but also go take a look at some other clusters. This is by far the worst right now, so that may be somewhat unfair on my part, and I do get that. I'm 50-50.

"2. Algorithms quickly estimate the earthquake's location, magnitude, and intensity: Where is it? How big is it? Who is going to feel it?"
Thanks. This explains it and shows a much higher resolution that debunks the "HAARP-like" attacks on La Palma that Charlie Ward and others were advocating.
There could still be lots of funny business going on. Rothschilds apparently run and fund https://www.lapalmacentre.eu/
which funds many on-island tunnel projects, for geothermal energy, for mining safety, for trains, for volcanic research, and for any other reason you can think of for digging tunnels. I've read that it is bigger and more discrete than CERN, and it's almost all on La Palma.

I think this video shows it explained. Just under 5 minutes.

Try zooming in closer (if you can) and you would find that these are the sensors reporting the volcanism. Read my explanation above.

Many of these sensors do get destroyed but in the area you are viewing is not where the lava is flowing.
Water pipes? No, these are piezoelectric sensors.

@Mr. A posted it and stated -- "Related to the sensors. Real data shown underneath, but reported according to the sensors."
Read my explanation above of how these sensors work.
