I’m by no means vegan. I love an appropriate amount of meat and fat. I get the fattiest meat I can get. I love bacon.
But in college when I was eating mostly meat and carbs, low fruit and veggie I was not as well. Had sensitive stomach problems. I am more careful with where my meat and carbs come from though now. Cured my lactose intolerance I got then.
I am healthier with a balance of aromatics, fruits, and more veggies. I personally like spinach, arugula, avocados, okra, broccoli, ginger, brussel sprouts, turmeric, shallots, garlic, mushrooms, bok choy, celery, cilantro, parsley, green onions, berries, peaches, pears, and recently radish leaves.
A meat only diet has helped many as well. Mostly those with autoimmune diseases, like Jordan Peterson's daughter.
