So does Candida Albicans, a common and necessary fungus in our digestive systems that can get out of hand and infect blood and organs if not kept in balance. It feeds on excess sugar consumption.
There's some evidence that pathogenic fungus is also correlated with certain cancers
From personal anecdotal experience, once one has a candida overgrowth ALL carbohydrates have to be eliminated from the diet. Sugar is #1 on the list, followed by bread, pasta, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkins and even legumes. Even fruit and honey. ALL. This is a new lifestyle, not just a six-week purge or something, because the fungus will burst into action if you consume a baked potato, even after a lengthy period of being good. Stupid doctors will prescribe antifungal drugs, which work only as long as you are taking them. Good for a jump start, but then they advise you to eat WHOLE GRAINS, fruits and vegetables. Trust me, such uninformed eating does not work.
I'm going through this now and can empathize. Took years to figure out what was going on, all the while getting progressively worse. Magnesium bicarbonate has been really helpful as well.
Agreed. It's just that some people make a silly distinction, saying, for example, that potato is healthy sugar, and corn syrup is not. Of course, eating potato or fruit is eating sugar as far as the body is concerned.

I was wondering about that. Thanks.

FTFY :) those things are not in addition to sugar; they're forms of it

Yup
The issue with sugar is that it causes fermentation in the digestive tract. Fermented and putrefied byproducts all feed pathogenic organisms.
True, that is another issue with sugar
Have you looked into natural turpentine
Do have some good sources on this? I lost my dad to cancer and would like to know more if you don’t mind?

Thank you!
:) 👍
Unfortunately just this abstract after doing a quick search. The research seems pretty new on this topic, and there's a lot of conflicting articles.

Thanks!
It’s not necessary.
