They were putting the pressure on real hard yesterday so I knew it was coming. I am in gods hands now. Any job leads, in the Denver area for an unvaxed, and proud, patriot would be appreciated. Edited to add my quals. I have done evrything from janitorial to supervisory jobs. Family businesses. Mostly big industrial work places. Power plants, oil and gas, manufacturing operations.
Retired from one job I decided to get a trailer full of tools and do handyman type work for extra beer money. Started working with friends and neighbors at 20 dollars an hour. Haha. I had more work tha. I could do. Raised my prices. There are three of us in this town now making 75 dollars an hour.
If you know how to do anything and have ability to get a trailer full of tools you can make plenty of money. Also the boss won’t fire you for the vaccine
It is surprising to me finding out most people can’t even do the simplest things or know anything about tools.
Ya my dad was like that. He had his own businesses for most of his life. I am sure I could do something like that if I need to. Just always been easier to work for big corporations, even though , most of the time I have hated it. I know , easy is not always best. I have a lifetime of regrets for my choices.
I'm sure you've made good choices too. Don't be too hard on yourself, fren.
That's because woodshop, auto mechanics, and other vo-tech curriculum are a thing of the past in most schools. Some high schools are bringing them back but for the most part, the curriculum is targeted towards college.
When I was in high school I had to take either home ec or sewing, a typing class, and wood shop or industrial arts. I still use what I learned in those classes to this day. (Class of '85).
Absolutely 100% agree! What a loss for an entire generation of people.
A big mean pitbull chained up to the pickup. LoL a garage to park in helps. Living in a good neighborhood also helps.

Lock em up. Every. Time. From Philadelphia, PA.
Geenlee or KNAAACK have some strong lock boxes where the lock is put in a way that it would be difficult or impossible to get a lock cutter in.
Avoid the ones with wheels.
Check out https://www.youtube.com/c/ThetravelingcarpenterBlogspot He has a van alteration that hides the tools from prying eyes.
My son has a van like that now, this is how I found out about that channel.

Dang, I'm a bargain. Can confirm though, a good handy man can stay as busy as he wants to be.
