No f___in way anyone would have let that flag look that bad unless intentional.
Honor in the military is honor, disrespect in not unintentional.
Those who do it know how to pull all the corners tight.
You are over target noggin.
One of the first skills the military learns is how to make a perfect hotel corner with a blanket that is smaller than the bed. Hell of a trick.
Have to be able to bounce a penny off the blanket too.
No longer a quarter? Jeez
I thought it was a "hospital corner". Correct me if I'm wrong.
Think its both
Correct. This wouldn’t pass inspection at all.
Vet here. Hard to tell from that angle.

Aside: that ain't Hillary.
Those cruel eyes can't be anyone else's. She has very little makeup on her face, and looks like she didn't put on her neck lift tape because the face mask straps got in the way. Thus, she looks mousy and has spots and wrinkles and a loose, wrinkly neck you aren't used to seeing. Her hair also looks flat, which has been the case in many recent pictures. Maybe her hairdresser quit. Plus, her stand-ins usually are younger and look better than she does, thus this points back to her...

There are certainly some wrinkles in the flag
I don't think it is wrinkled in the sense that I would expect Old Glory to look as though it was freshly removed from a washing machine. Too many hands on board the event to allow a truly wrinkled flag.
That being said, Powell's funeral proceedings are surrounded by the darkest mess of traitors ever assembled in one place for quite a while; that says gobs about him and his character. That, to me, is the wrinkle that will never go away, ever.
“They” placed another draping over the casket if you look at other funeral pictures. I would think that it was somewhat wrinkled or sloppily folded going in.
I saw that, and was wondering if that was normal. Found it very out of place.
That in and of itself is “telling” to me. Unless someone has sauce. It seems to be a religious drape. Perhaps he was truly repentant?
