I think that is key to understand. These drones are up waaaay high up.
Also, I was once at an event where the Space Shuttle flew over us on its "last flight" because it was being retired. I saw a large dragonfly flying through the crowd in a grid pattern. I said at the time, to my friend who was with me, ".... that ain't no dragonfly."
I think we'd be surprised at some of the tools these folks have.
Ummm ... Have you ever sat in a field beside a lake when a dragonfly hatch is happening? There are soon a large number of dragon flys flying around after their wings dry. You will notice a peculiar thing; they love to fly grid patterns, at least some varieties do. Up the field and back many times taking 90's or simply using the same "column" of field and taking 180's. A strange thing to see for sure. I spent weeks watching them while I was growing up back in the 80's.
Now, are there also dragon fly drones with cameras? Yup. Just saying, grid pattern is natural in many species and not a distinguishing feature.
But it was quite spooky, how grid-perfect this dragonfly was flying. The short hairs on my neck told me Inner Caveman saw something out of place. But yes, it could have just been a dragonfly.
The town I work for got one on a " government grant" last spring, It's about the size of 2 sheets of plywood, can fly over 2 miles high and from that distance track, with a clear readable pic, a car tag on the 80+ mph interstate over 15 miles to the next town over. You know the FBI has better.
$30,000 and you can shut down any drone. Military drone remover. You can shoot in its direction, take over the drone, and land it. I'm sure the military has something equivalent to FBI, in case someone goes rogue or steals equipment.
I'm sure this comment is coming from a place of concern for our fren's wellbeing, and you're trying to tell him not to get a truck and take down drones...
But it kind of sounds like you're telling him to take down several drones in a blaze of glory before they catch him so it's worth it.
Good luck reaching them. Your little RV drone couldn’t get with sight of government drones.

I of course allow for that possibility. Agreed.

So buy a truck or take out a drone. And you know that's only going to work once before they come hunting your ass.
Fact lol
