If anyone doesn't want to police or have law enforcement for their communities there's always us patriots who are willing to ensure order and peace on the streets.
I have a drug dealer selling heroin etc, in my neighborhood for at least 10yr. I call it "the heroin house" all the sheriffs here know exactly who and where I'm talking about, I make a point of bringing this up when I see police in my neighborhood. I'm wondering if they will ever be ashamed of there SHITTY WORK....not holding my breath!
We got crack/meth dens up here in fairbanks too... it's painstakingly obvious what's happening in this shit holes but what does local PD do? Drive by... rather play DUI/speeding ticket games on busy roads. Had a twacked out junkie pull a gun on me and my dad for driving too slow thru a bank parking lot.. license plate given and Im sure the bank had security cams, been almost a year and not a word from the town clowns. Some cops are just pieces of shit, sadly. State Troopers have more spine, in my experience. /rant

This young man will be acquitted; even the prosecution witnesses have conveyed he was chased and fired at and his actions of trying to flee are clearly self defense actions. IMO, he will come out of this as a hero and role model for others. Granted, he is doing a lot of growing up in a short period of time.
The issue is that when Leftists say that it's code for "make my black rape fetish compulsory." Or else they would unite w the Right toward community police instead of pensioned govt goon assholes and gangsters
Remember drugs thrive in communities for several reasons: crooked cops aide and abet (not some, but a lot; cops are NOT paid enough to put their lives on the line every day, hence they look for other income or feel they don’t make enough to put a target on their back in reprisal) and the judicial system is broken (justice needs to be swift and of such length that it is a deterrent for crime.). Increase pay for police, firefighters, paramedics to $100,000 minimum to start, full medical benefits paid, gradual 6 month pay for performance increases. Bring back convicts working to earn their keep-trash pick up side of the road, learn a skill in prison (produce products made in U.S. It could be as simple as a garden or green house for food production or learning how to be a fitness trainer. Skills they are required to use as terms of probation.
