I have been reading about the exact action that happened when Kyle defended himself. Looks like almost battle conditions, an ambush was setup and he was being fired upon, and he made his shots very fast and with precision. Sounds like expert gunmanship. Am I reading that right?
How often do you come across 17 year olds with that kind of expertise?
Is it possible that Kyle had some professional training? Perhaps he is not just a random kid?
Is it possible that the FBI planned false-flag for getting rid of guns was subverted by the White Hats into a full blown anti-false-flag to expose FBI ?
Just thinking aloud. I am amazed by this kid, but not sure if he is improbably good or impossible good.
Every damn day in much of the South and a few other parts of the country.
Well, one things is for sure. After the Great Awakening, me and my family are gonna start training too!
No. He held a beyond-pro level of composure in a chaotic situation where he came under sudden, concerted, violent attack and never lost control. Anyone trained in safety, marksmanship or hunting doesn't magically gain combat tactical awareness, especially to the extent displayed by Rittenhouse. Every shot landed in an attacker, no strays no wilds, and afterwards he continued to behave perfectly, no panic no revenge.
Good points, Litecola2. I was too glib. You're right: Rittenhouse did show exceptional skill, composure, and intelligence under basically combat conditions. I'd be surprised if most police, despite years of training, would be as competent. Hell, plenty of soldiers wouldn't have handled the situation as well.
Or..., maybe there was a bit of supernatural intervention. Do you think when David met his Goliath that God's protection wasn't there with David? Same thing happened with Kyle...divine intervention. That's my take.
I do believe this is much bigger than it looks. I think God's hands are behind every step of this Plan.
David also practiced with sling and stones against wild beasts. He was already proficient with it when he met Goliath.
And still had divine help
It's just regular ol adrenaline bullet time compression no-mind. He's a pure soul, no baggage delaying his God given reflexes and attention.
His restraint in that chaotic situation is what most impressed me...well, that and his aim.
Video games. I remember reading about a school shooter some years back. ( I dont remember which one) he shot like 11 people all head shots. His sister crossed his path during the shooting spree, and said she didnt recognize his eyes. All he did was play videos in his spare time.
As someone who is both a video game and firearm enthusiast, I don’t think this is true. I play lots of FPS games and am still a shit marksman. Lots of practice required.
Agreed; have known all three types of people- very good gamers, very good TACTICAL shooters (meaning competitive scenario marksmen), and those who do both proficiently- one has very little to do with the other.
Now, the observation that she didn't recognize his eyes, that kind of points to possession more than anything else. Unfortunately had a little experience with that too, and yeah, looking into the eyes of someone you love and realizing "that ain't them" is one of the most disturbing moments I've ever had.
