That's just bad statistics. There have been like 51 billion people and 7.8 billion are still alive. I haven't checked with CDC yet but I'm think'n the average is like 15% survival. I think we can show that the industrial revolution did a lot to save mankind as well. Pretty much 100% of survivors were born after. Burn that coal baby!
