These used to be funny to me - and this is still humorous.
But right now, not as funny as it used to be. I found out yesterday morning that an engineer friend from another company who I have worked with for over a decade was in the hospital with Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis - basically a bunch of blood clots int he brain.
I was pretty sure that he had been vaxxed - and confirmed it with another engineering friend at the same company who sent me the news. He also apparently had Covid also.
Found out today that he is now doing a bit better and can walk and do some PT.
Hopefully this won't be a trend since I know a bunch of folks who have been caught up in the DoD / Govt Contractor mandate. Thank goodness that I was able to get a waiver.
