Wood didn’t keep Kyle in jail, his criminal attorney did. Wood’s foundation FightBack bailed him out as soon as they raised the $2 million bail amount. I was following it, and I even donated to it. The money was for bail, when bail money is returned it should go back to the entity that posted it. In this case, it should go back to FightBack. The foundation funds other legal cases too, especially election-related cases.

A simple defamation lawsuit would clear all this up. Why doesn't Lin do so? He's sued someone who called him an "idiot", which to me is far less than what people like Rittenhouse and MTG are accusing him of. Perhaps he is culpable? Or at least he knows he'll never be trusted by our side again if he tries to sue Rittenhouse. If he sues MTG and avoids Rittenhouse, to me says he is guilty of what Rittenhouse accuses him of. Leaving the matter entirely alone may seem like the smartest thing to do, except the lies perpetuated against him, assuming they are lies, will destroy his credibility as they snowball and become parroted by more and more people.
Whether Lin is guilty or not, he's definitely in a pickle.
