The judge ruled unelected officials cannot make laws but what is stopping a mayor from doing so? Here in Kansas City the health officials were advising the mayor but he had the final call in the end. I don't see how this ruling changes that.
The mayor is not the legislature (or local equivalent). Only legislatures can make laws. Brilliant judge! Now do election integrity.
Actually only God can make laws. Anyone who tries to make laws outside of God's law will only cause injustice to reign.
Recall Lucas. Terrible mayor.
We’ve tried )=
Oh I know. I’ve signed several recall petitions for him.

Yes. The constitution does not allow for thirty day violations.
I understand how this stops st Louis county executive from doing whatever he wants but I'm a little hazey in how this helps stop future mandates. If the previous Kansas City mask mandate was "done in accordance with the new state law", how does this stop the city council from doing another mandate?
Thank you for taking the time to explain this to me. After Kansas passed law regarding vaccine exemptions I was very happy this week and this just adds to the happiness!!
I think they're only blue outside of the cities by fraud. We were just in St. Louis county last week and went to a Sams. Almost everybody but us was masked. They stared at us.🙄
