The hand holding up what looks like “stop” seems to me she is deliberately joining the middle and other finger together to form what is sort of like a W or upside down M.

Maybe depends on the hand, I have to either force an “open fingers” stop gesture or a closed fingers stop gesture.

The W or upside down M is known to be symbolic.

Pertains to a certain Freemason drawing and Y heads as well.
