See what happens when a country TEMPORARILY allows patients to be treated with Ivermectin.

Additional data is required to make a statement indicating IVM was what made the difference (from a systems perspective health measures have many additional inputs). If one could find another nearby country that had a similar looking curve before IVM was introduced and then deviated from the one above after the new treatment was introduced solely in Slovakia, it would be a much better indicator of causality.
Well said. I'm very pro-IVM... but this evidence is weak. Especially since a competing hypothesis (an annual infection cycle) provides a viable interpretation of the data
Annual infection cycles have amplitudes. If winter brings a cycle with only a hundred deaths, then ivermectin was well worth it.
Your comment made me read what I wrote again. Now I'm wondering why "data is" always sounds more correct to me even though I think it really should be "data are".
A collective uses a singular verb even though it indicates more than one...such as the choir is rehearsing or my class is gong on a field trip.
I know what you mean! My ears also prefer "data is" despite knowing better.
Unless of course... https://www.pinterest.com/pin/data-has-a-message-for-picard-and-the-rest-of-us-get-more-gifs-funny-funnymemes-humor-videos-me--831969731140799116/
Agreed.
India is a much better example. States in India that pushed ivermectin saw new cases plummet, while other Indian states without ivermectin use saw new cases skyrocket. The difference between states were orders of magnitude different.
Good Point. I did a search and found this website that allows you to easily compare multiple countries. I'll be using this tool in the future! Click Here

Guy from Slovakia here. Let me clarify.
The sudden drop you see during February was after new lockdown measures had been put into place.
We had major lockdowns from January until April. Go to work, go home. Do you want to walk your dog or your cat? Only 1000m from your home. Do you want to go outside with your kids? Only 1000m from your home. Do you want to go outside for a run? Only in your district. Do you want to go shopping in a different district? Nah, you stay where you live. There were times when the police had been checking this and there were times when they weren't - but it got the sheeple scared and people stayed where they lived. My cousin's husband got stopped by the police 3-4 times traveling between two villages for work purposes. I never got stopped.
Regarding Ivermectin: Even though you could get it legally prescribed, there was almost none in the pharmacies. People that I know got some from veterinarians and others got some from Austria. I bought horse paste from the US, but it never came. I suspect it got busted by the customs. I got some nonetheless. Some hospitals didn't want to use it to treat people, others were okay with it.
I'd say that there was no widespread use of Ivermectin here in Slovakia.
We had a communist-style lockdown, sheeple dutifully obeyed, and then we had summer.
Why the sudden drop of cases in May?
Well...
We didn't have any covid wave in summer 2020, three months after the first lockdown.
We didn't have any covid wave during the summer this year, for 4 months after the spring lockdown ended. That's crazy when you consider that everybody and their mother went to restaurants and pubs during May. The parks were full - I have never seen so many people in our city park. And we didn't see any increase in cases in May...
I suspect that either covid is seasonal and the waves come during the fall and winter... or the test is faulty and we have been testing for the flu which is more likely.
You can read more about our crazy march lockdown and different colored districts here: https://korona.gov.sk/en/national-lockdown/
TLDR: No widespread use of Ivermectin. Communist-style lockdowns. And summer, after the lockdowns ended.
Thanks, man.
There's a flip side, though. We had a very small first wave with a prompt and short lockdown so the economic damage was smaller than in other European states.
Both summers were great here, and the majority of the people are unvaccinated.
I personally know only one person with 3 jabs and only one person that got their 17yr old son jabbed. So young people are mostly safe. Older people, who lived through communism (ended in 1989 here) are starting to see this as bullshit.
Most of my aunt's friends (in their 60s) are deeply regretting that they have fallen for the jab and don't want the third booster.
I have 14 tubes of horsey paste....Cant get the pill form in canada. Doctors will lose their medical licence if they were to dare to issue a script, and besides even if you could get a script the pharmacy will seize it and rat the dr out. Even the online overseas pharmacies will not ship ivermectin to canada. I asked one place why and they said that the canada customs are treating ivermectin as if it was cocaine and they have most of the shipments seized at the border.
Cant poison the population if there is a treatment that costs pennies and is safe and effective. Gotta get the de-population program out to the public after all.
how do they know what's in the mail? are they intruding on people's mail? Can't do that here.
probably via x-rays on packages. See pills open package, if ivermectin seize it.
this is so unprecedented, I have very very violent thoughts in my head I can only wish I could act out on these lunatics.
Uter Padash (sp) India is a great example.
This should be the top comment.
They can't read graphs. Otherwise Would be enjoying President Donald Trump in office right now. It's the ones with science degrees that still keep hurting me the most.
Wow. Data points. Will they be ignored?
How widespread was the use of ivermectin here?
The chart appears to show cases being reduced gradually at the end of the flu season and then starting up again in the fall.
If I just looked at the chart, I wouldn't think that any intervention had been introduced here.
Almost none. Some people that I know have plenty in stock, but I'd say that most people don't have any. I'd say it was mostly because of summer.
Meh, that’s summer and Vit-D is a big deal. may to sep are the warm months in Slovakia.
I don't get it. On one hand I and everyone here believes the PCR tests are BOGUS. On the other, we still have charts like this: 'cases'. What is the method of testing? What does a case mean?
Looks like a cold and flu season graph. Winter= everyone inside + less vitamin D
Cannot have that then the grift ends.
As others from SK have said there was no wideapread use of IVM. In fact the current government and president are VERY anti IVM, demonizing it whenever possible and only calling it the horsedewormer. Currently the globalist government are doing anything they can to promote the jab as the only solution - they are paying seniors 500eur if they get jabbed and boosted Other interresting covid scam facts about slovakia
last year all people had to pass weekly antigen tests for work. This lead to hundreds of people standing together n the winter every week outside of testing facilities, leading to one of the worst percapit covid deaths in world. And costing 1b eur for the tests
we had loterry for jabbed people where they could win up to 400k eur
simillar to other eu countries there are talks about mandatory vax and gettimg fines if ppl refuse
there was a referendum attempt to have new elections - enough signatures were raised but the globalist president squashed it so we are stuck with this government for next 2 yearsif nothing changes
