Already being done, in public schools, and has been for 30 years. This is will level the playing field, for christian programs that are openly discriminated against, in schools, in favor of islam, paganism, and any other progressive flavor of the week.
If you mean that the separation of church and state is nowhere in the Constitution, I would have to agree with you. Only establishing, or forbidding a religion is prohibited.
Im sorry but i dont think religion should be pushed on children. I wouldnt even care if you had to be 18 to attend church. Pushing it on young impressionable children is indoctrination and child abuse.
Its "grooming" them for a mandatory religious adulthood.
Let them become an adult where they can make their own choices and come to their own conclusions.
What are you on about? When did i ever mention when i woke up? Or even hinted at it?
I woke up in the 90's when i realized our money is monopoly money backed by nothing. Dug a little deeper, learned about the petro dollar. Then it all started coming together.
But hey let me repeat a question, what if your child's school decides they will only teach islam? Will you respect their rights?
Great excuse to intoduce satanism to young ones.

Satanism is a cult not a religion
It's the founding of the country. They have no right to say being a secular nation is up n constitutional.
Dare we say, Biblical?.....
It's not anywhere IN the Constitution.

This is how you end up with theocracies and atrocities in the name of one false god or another.
Edit: this is just Slate being hyperbolic. I'm leaving my gut reaction above for honesty's sake.

I'd rather my child learn about the teaching of Jesus over Karl Marx any day of the week.

Again for the slow kid in the room, "What are you on about? When did i ever mention when i woke up? Or even hinted at it?"
I would respect their rights, and then enroll my child in another school.
This is the way.
