Lol I have a client who does the same. I'm happy, successful & loved, why would "dating" be the focus? It's like people who insist on telling every woman under 40 to get busy having babies🐸

I am in my early 30’s and I do think I want a family someday, but I feel like my time is running out… I should have made different decisions a little earlier in life I guess. Spent my 20’s trying to make it work with men who had no intention of making things serious with me. I’m going to start trying to date again after the holidays are over. Pray for me please lol
I'll send a little prayer out for you and another for for myself as I'm also in the same boat. I reflect on past actions and cannot regret them as I couldnt have been where Im currently at without those trodded paths. At most I will indulge in fantasizing about another decision but know its a bit futile - that ultimately life balances itself no matter what path you take. The challenges are ever persistent, as well as the risks and rewards.
I dont really want children (or maybe just dreading the responsibility lol) but see it as a duty to fufill that was contingent on my existence; respect for my ancestors that got me here require it to be at least attempted to raise a new, better guided version of my lineage.
I guess it's because they felt you're trying to make a generalization that it's most logical for everyone to have kids when the truth is it's really not. having kids is great for most people but for some people it's probably better if they didn't.
