The largest phosphate mining operation in the world is near the small town of Aurora, NC. I have been on the property. Ditches up and down the roads are yellow with sulfur. The place smells. I put in a job application there decades ago, but luckily never got called.
Look for Aurora, NC on Google maps in satellite view, and it's easy to spot the huge spoiled area.

I'm in Craven County, right next to Beaufort County. The area has changed a ton in the past 10 years so I'm looking to move out of here, but I've lived here a long time and retirees love this place.
Unless you are attached to the water, you might like moving further inland north of the Raleigh area. It's still rural, but close enough to Raleigh for occasional shopping. I have family in Roxboro and Oxford. You might be able to find some acreage out there.

The vote came out with 62% in favor of adding fluoride to our water! If I didn't think the votes here were rigged before, I sure do now...
If you know anyone that thinks it is ok that governments put Fluoride in the drinking water, they may answer with "It is good for your teeth, or prevents tooth decay..." Ask them this ... If the government cares so much about your health and teeth that they would freely infuse your water with Fluoride, then why is it that they do not infuse the water with Vitamins A, B, C, D, and essential minerals? Why is it that you can not purchase a bottle of Fluoride to drip in your own water?

The fluoridation purpose is to harden the Pineal Gland, which in most people makes them more agreeable and docile. It also limits their extra sensory perception. Stiffens it, like an unused muscle. With some people it inadvertently makes the resonating frequencies stronger and the perception more focused to compensate for the stiffening of the gland. You can not stop the "shining" of the light.
