I don't know what to make of this but I'm just going to put it out there: I live in Bergen county, NJ right on the other side of the West Hudson from Manhattan and for maybe the past three days and nights there have been non-stop helicopters flying over my head. As far as I can tell (not an expert) they look non-military. About half the time I can hear two at once. Was up at 4am and they were still there.
Anyone else in the area? Anyone know of a reason?
edit: 10:41am just at least four helicopters heading south along Hudson. These were military.
Maybe bringing in the regular supply of Ivermctin for the rich people living in NYC?
I'm no expert but this seems more like patrol than transportation.

If you stand at the Hoboken park directly across the Hudson River you'll be amazed at the amount of choppers rolling in and out of the city.
You mean there's high traffic in/out of NYC generally or that something has changed? I mean, I see helicopters over Manhattan all the time but this has been a distinct change in my area.
Are you able to rule out news 'copters? Maybe a silly question since local news and police aircraft are usually pretty discernable. Thought I'd ask anyways, to eliminate obvious explanations <3
I can't tell the difference between helicopters to be honest. I don't see any that are marked with a news logo. They could be for the news but it's still all of a sudden for the last couple of days.
Do you notice any color lights, green/red/white? It's always interesting to say the least, when there is activity in the skies!

You could check out https://globe.adsbexchange.com/ and look up what type of heli's they are.
If they look to have some weird nose attachments they could be sniffers (heli's equipped to sample the air to detect weapons (bio/chem/nuke) etc.
Well, we know it's not bombshell witnesses for the Maxwell prosectution.
Maybe they are looking to lock up the criminals that go through the justice system there and keep getting released without bail/bond so they can keep their crime streak going:)
Check out flightradar24.com basically all but the most top secret aircraft are on there live. Often with identifying tail numbers. You can search these tail numbers and usually get a webpage of who owns the aircraft
Currently I’m seeing 4 off the southern tip of Manhattan. One news copter and 3 unidentified Bell407 copters. Possibly sightseeing?
What about along the West Hudson on the NJ side right across from the northern edge of Central Park (around 110th street in Manhattan)?
It’ll be easier to go to the website yourself if possible as it changes rapidly but all I’m seeing is a couple over the Lincoln tunnel with flight paths up and down the river and around the Statue of Liberty which would indicate to me, sightseeing
I live on Long Beach island NJ, yesterday I saw 2 groups of 3 Apache helicopters flying in formation, 2 giant military helicopters I havent seen before and multiple pairs of f-15s buzzing around. McGuire AFB is close but the amount of activity we would see in a month we are seeing in a day. I see alot black helicopters go by heading north and south daily.
Yeah, the black ones. North and south over the Hudson. I think it was a formation of Apaches I saw earlier today too. Grey.
