When your crazy lib relative is spouting nonsense, just whip this out and say, "Please, read a page from from my pocket bible!"
They'll open it and see that. Priceless.
What is the summary of the Scripture, according to Jesus?
Mark 12:30
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
12:31
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
I would use "only one thing is needed" - reminded myself of that yesterday. Helped the anxiety a lot. That "one thing" is a reference to Martha and Mary with one trying to run around and tidy things and prepare food and Mary sitting at Jesus' feet.
God is more gracious in his style of messaging, as a rule.
love it, and reminds me of the sign I had in my kitchen for years; Be Nice or Leave.
We wouldn't be in this situation if people could control themselves/how they treat others.
We are going to need to be so much more than an asshole. Start practicing now.
I don’t like it. It’s almost saying “ don’t be like this guy pictured here”.
Jesus could shred someone with very words. No need replacing His words with vague slander.
If you are a man of the cloth you are in error pisting this trash.
Believe it or not, I just upvoted you.

One of my old gaming groups had two rules:
1.) Don't be a dumbass. 2.) Don't be an asshole.
Both should be in that little book.
