I get the drift, and I understand the need for disinformation, but at what point does disinformation become just another lie? I wonder about this because in my experience liars can't be trusted. I understand hedging the truth and not saying everything you know, and I don't have a problem with doing that in touchy situations, but this goes far beyond either of those two concepts.

I can say anything. Until he builds a rational, logical case around his claim, he stays on the “trust him till you don’t” list.
Trump is playing the long game. It has to appear like he believes in the vaccine so he can take down big pharma.
