Is poisoning your opposition something that you see as an every-day-humdrum type of action in this war, or do you see this an escalation?

Escalation, while it rightly causes fear, can also be viewed as a sign that the end is nearing.
I remember someone once explaining it as two professional chess players and both know the game is over in 10 moves. The loser is just prolonging the last 10 moves as long as possible, but I have no idea. I just know God wins🙏
