Led by Millennials and Gen Z, generations with a predisposition to be fatalistic, Omicron parties are sweeping across the globe. And a new favorite expression has popped up among them, “We are the cure.”
Losing faith in the ineffective vaccines and harsh government countermeasures, have pushed a sense of grim determination to bring the pandemic to an end now. Being younger and healthier they are now idealistically embracing that the responsibility to achieve herd immunity falls on their shoulders and can only be done by actually catching the virus.
Omicron is being seen as the right variant at the right time to achieve the goal.

This is how we did it back in the day for chicken pox. Parents would have parties to get all the kids infected at an early age so they would recover and have life long immunity. Getting chicken pox as an adult is very dangerous and can lead to death but as a very young child it's very easy to fight. Entire Amish community had covid, got over it, and now have full immunity without using any drugs.

My sister was asked to host such an event when she was sick last week. People want to catch it so they can get the "recovered" certificate (can be used instead of vax in my country).

I know no generation is the homogeneous group the DS wants them to be. It amuses me to no end when I read the handwringing MSM articles complaining how they can’t figure out Millennials and Gen Z.
My take is what they can’t understand is why your generation and Millennials are rejecting the matrix they built. Just an observation, could be wrong, but I see a lot of younger people who seem determined to live simpler, less materialistic lives. That doesn’t line up with what they believe you should want.

This was my thought process 2 years ago. Got my covid infection out of the way & moved on with life...Now I'm equipped with antibodies, along with exercise, a good diet, & a war chest of ivermectin + azithromicin just incase my family/ friends, or I need it.
I will hope and pray that this exact headline will be published where my ex friend will see it. I made the same comment to her last year and I'm pretty sure that's why she stopped talking to me.
