Grocery store called about a salad recall, so I was casually perusing the list of recent recalls on https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts .
I found this on page 2:

Haven't heard much about Gilead through this pandemic, makes me wonder what other shady shit they're up to. Still, not one media outlet, mainstream or otherwise has said a word about it that I know of. I would think glass in an injectable would be front page news, especially when it's the drug of choice for their 'Covid Protocol'! Just another reason to avoid this awful drug like the plague!

Reading that recall list is scary. How some of this stuff happens is beyond me!

That brain fog got em. And if we’re not careful their brain fog will get us too.
That is minor compared to the published literature which shows that the drug causes kidney failure.

Well yeah, that and the lungs filling with fluid so you have to go on a killer ventilator. I just think it's interesting (but not surprising), that I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere.

I have seen other injectable drugs over the years recalled for the same reason. These were generally meds used for heavy sedation since that is what I worked with. Usually it is confined to particular lot numbers.

This would suggest that it happened in production. Although, how a busted vial gets ground up and incorporated into the vaccine is above my pay grade.
I guess, sedated people can't complain they're being sliced to ribbons.
A good question that was brought up by u/CorpseLivesMatter. How big are these lots? I'd bet they're not uniform from drug to drug and manufacturer to manufacturer.
Like I've said, it's hard to fathom how some of this stuff happens.
Shit that has little to nothing to do with manufacturing ends up in the finished product. I agree with u/SuckaFree who says, 'It can't be "by accident."'
