I too noticed he was packing a lot of info in but I felt he has so much to cover with all the mounting wins and connections to make and still keep it under an hour. I listen to him on 1.5 speed anyway so I had to set him to normal speed.
I suspect that he doesn't just sit down and bang out a full report in one go. He takes breaks between segments, however he does it, and surely edits the final cut together, trying to make it as seamless as possible. Yesterday's report was definitely like Person A talking to Person B, back and forth, and didn't sound natural at all. Not that he's turned more into a robot, his reports just cover so many topics and thought processes that he has to cobble together many hours of material down to a full report.
I'm guessing he might have tried to keep it under an hour, so he cut out a lot of dead air.
I don't think someone would have the time to cut together an entirely brand new report with just audio snips. But at the same time Dave could be a super computer, idk.
Relax…audio recording software has a time compression feature that allows a recording to be compressed or expanded to fit in a certain time frame. Too much time compression will make the recording sound unnatural….too slow will make you sound drunk.

I need to check out tonight's episode!
I am with you but i usually put him at 2.1x..lol
1.5? That's nothing, 2.2x with complete silence removal. 🤪😳😆
The wife can't listen, but she doesn't want to anyway haha. But dang, can get thru a full episode in no time. 😂
IMO this is better
It saves time.
I check out a lot of sites.
Outstanding show, never miss.
it does seem a little faster the last few days.
I was thinking he had Christmas shopping to do!
Picking up the pace.
Yes, I noticed this too, he's using an automated gap editor and he needs to dial it back by half

Let’s talk about YOUR health…
It's been a while since I listened to Dave I will have to check it out.
These episodes are also around 50 minutes long.

I just want him to be ok lol.
My biggest fear is the reports become generated because he cannot do them in any capacity.
I'm a daily listener lol
Yeah, had to check my speed settings. Do you think he saves on bandwidth costs?
