Why do people who don’t get vaccinated still pay the same in health insurance as those who did ? Aren’t they pay definition more likely to need that insurance and raise costs for all of us who understand responsibility?

Because our hospitals even pre-surge were extremely full (like 90%+) so even a fraction of a percent that get hospitalized will easily overwhelm our emergency departments and ICUS.

The more people that get it, the more chances it has to mutate into a more deadly variant

It kills people. It fills hospitals. It causes long term sequelae. It causes disability. We're looking at a long term health crisis we've never experienced before.

Deaths is a lagging statistic. The USA already has at least one suspected death in Texas due to omicron.

A Child in California died from this strain. People are dying from it. The dude in Tx had Covid survived wouldn’t get vaccinated got Omicron and died

I think a question with "since I am not a doctor" indicates you should listen to doctors, notably virologists who spent their lives learning this. Or, you could go on Twitter and ask randos. I am not a pro golfer. Would you stand in front of me while I chip over you? I wouldn't.

You don't have to be a doctor to know what doctors have been telling us that you won't listen to. 1. That's not how immunity works. 2. Mutations 3. Children too young for vax 4. Immunocompromised 5. It's summer in S. Africa so people are outside; it isn't an apt comparison.

These people (less the bots, many are bots) are BEYOND SAVING.
