There hasnt been anything as far as I know that he’s backtracked on after he’s said it.
That's because he never acknowledges when he's wrong. That's why I don't listen. You'll never know what nonsense your head is filled with because he never goes back to address the things he got wrong.
Exactly, Dave NEVER acknowledges his wrong “predictions” or even errors in his info. Back in January/February of this year Dave was constantly mispronouncing English words and/especially names of American cities which led me to believe English isn’t Dave’s first language. Not that there’s anything wrong with that... I have a friend who was born in Korea and was raised watching John Wayne/Western movies - it’s literally how he learned to speak English - and he sounds just like John Wayne... so if you never met my friend in person and only heard his voice you’d think he was this John Wayne all American looking dude... when you meet him in person and you see this Korean guy people do a double take, it’s actually quite funny. My friend has no detectable accent whatsoever except an English one. And he too mispronounces names of cities and English words all the time which now leads me to believe Dave/X22 native language isn’t English. That’s all, just an observation.
Dave knows the minute he starts acknowledging mistakes he’ll lose his audience. It’s a smart tactic on his part, just keep plowing through, kicking the can of “the Deep State is in a total panic, they’re backed into a corner now, the Fed and the World Banks are all trapped... let’s talk about your health.”
I called him out on that ca 2018 on Voat and T_D and was roundly abused. My speculation differed although I like yours, the ESL Hypothesis.
I think Dave is lower-middle class and not born into the socio-political miliue he discusses on his program. The mispronunciation betray a work-class upbringing not a collegiate Republican upbringing.
One glaring example that comes to mind is Dave's utter botching of Dinesh d'Sousa's name. Not only did he not know how to say it from knowledge of The March King himself, John Philip Sousa, which is a foundation piece of American middle class knowledge, he didn't know his name as part of the Conservative Movement in the 1990s via The Dartmouth Review or contemporaneously from Obunghole's political prosecution of him over some trumped up, bogus campaign contribution and IRS regulation bullshit.
And he makes similar foul-ups all the time.
My guess back then, given the impossibility of selling enough silver, gold and flashlights to earn a living -- and with the obvious time it takes to produce his show which is otherwise very well done -- is that Dave was part of a military / TLA clandestine broadcast style operation, along the lines of Radio Free Europe during the early Cold War. In this model, Dave would be an Army sergeant detailed to the X22 Broadcast Operation. It would explain how he supports himself, how he can prepare the program each day, and also why he is ignorant of the basic font of upper-middle class nomenclature and vocabulary.
Why? He's just an Army staff sergeant doing a good job. He is not an upper-middle class college graduate Gen Xer.
The same shit happens here. For a long time i have been advocating for a “fake news” tag that can get added to stuff posted here that gets traction then turns out f&g so at least we know. That and a weekly round up of fake news we fell for just like the top stories summary
The very fact that his messages are encouraging, helping people keep up hope, is valuable in itself. Once hope is gone, there's nothing. No patriot, no fighter, just a zombie sheep.

His mispronunciations are bad. Really bad. Like, someone who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Anyway, that's my hypothesis on Dave.
