Comey told us that the corn was ready And then disappeared from public view. He's a star witness. His daughter, willing or not, has zero leverage given her father's precarious role. My guess is that the Maxwell trial was a dress rehearsal for revelations to come. Before the main act there is always a warm up band or two.

the military is the only solution. It had to be this way. These are only the opening salvos. While they want to conceal, they also know it is going to come out eventually if Trump continues winning (as he did in the most recent election). Thus, if they conceal and it gets uncovered, they go to jail as well. Thus, they have to walk a fine line. That is why Maxwell was prosecuted in the first place, when her accomplice was let off years earlier. Too much scrutiny.
