Not sure I trust those images. I've spent a fair bit of time looking into the 3 gorges dam since last year's mega flooding. A structure of that size with the amount of pressure it's constantly under would already have collapsed if it were truly that buckled imo. That's not to say it's days aren't numbered. Particularly since initially the CCP gave it a 1000 year lifetime, then revised it a couple of years later to 100 and then down to 10 last year. I don't envy the folks living down stream from it.

And he is not flying a plane, he’s has got his finger over the button to launch Taiwan’s new land based missiles that now have enough range to reach the Three Gorges dam.
It’s pretty easy to shoot down one jet airplane but it’s a bit harder to shoot down multiple hypersonic missiles.
