All these illegals don't pay half the time or get processed, perhaps, some really bored people could go ahead and file for all 30+ million of them. I'd imagine that would take up a lot of time...til they figured it out; and let's just face facts here, these are not the sharpest pencils in the cup....there's tons of common names out there, just saying. If everyone filed 1 extra, they'd be swamped for a decade; and by God, they can't arrest us all....

It's up to the discretion of whatever financial institution is processing the check. I'm not going to put much faith in a bank teller enforcing the rules against the IRS.

Your paying attention to funding which is relevant but I'm talking about something tangentially related to them passing the bill. Federal agencies can still move forward with their plans despite lack of direct funding. They simply reallocate finding from something else. For government contracts it's simply a matter of checking off a different box on a form. Who is going to question or audit any of it?

We have done paper filing for years as our tax guy is Amish (he's really good actually). But since he only does paper filing that what we do. It did take until like September to get our refund last year. But it does seem to take longer and longer and more letters from them with "issues" that the tax guy takes care of and it's always the IRS fault, not a problem with the filing. Will keep doing my part. Lol.
They would most certainly try to arrest us all.
I have a collection of their stupid excuse letters they send whiming for more time to send what is indisputably owed this household. It is a farce of the highest magnitude.
