That’s not how law works. There was a dispute. The judge ruled on the dispute. There’s now precedence. It ought to be applied in other disputes. No idea if it will be or not.
If the law worked as it should, we wouldn't be dealing with all this authoritarian shit in the first place.
Just look at Sotomayor for example or that other drunk radical judge, you want to tell me that's also how law should work? Any decision they make is going to be political and based on misinformation or ignorance.
Law is supposed to be impartial, unbiased and applied equally but I think we can all agree that's not always the case.
