A lot of people have asked how Ivermectin actually works against Covid.
It makes small changes to importin a-1, a messenger protein that is the gatekeeper to the cells nucleus, or control center, which is where the virus wants to go to implant its code so the cell starts reproducing viral particles.
These small temporary and safe changes mean that when the COVID attaches to the importin a-1 to allow it access to the nucleus via the nuclear membrane, the unchanged importin b-1, which is the nuclear "bouncer" waiting for the password provided by importin a-1 and its guest, does not recognize a-1 and therefore the virus is denied entry into the nucleus. Game over.
So I made up a handy mnemonic device to help you remember: ivermectin is Importin.
So if anyone asks, now you know.
There are other ways it helps but the importin a/b disruption is one of the biggest.
For my parents it was always mercurchrome that cured everything lol remember that stuff?
That and Merthiolate. Hey lets use a mercury based product to treat out kids deep cuts. Geez, wonder any of of lived.
And how many times did you have fingernail polish on your balls to kill the redbugs?
NEVER.
LOL not talking about painting ones entire sack, just a small dob where the red bug was.
Fingernail polish on the balls was the going treatment when I was a kid. I have no idea who came up with that. It supposedly smothered the bug so he could not breath.
Turns out it was probably no help at all, as the chiggers did not burrow in at all.

We had merthiolate.....both direct applications of mercury to the skin. Wish I'd known back THEN.....
My mom used to put iodine on our cuts. I remember having that red mark on my fingers, arms, legs, come to think of it, just about everywhere at one time or another.
About a year ago, I was cutting off a bolt between two boards with the sawsall. I knew damn well that I was pulling hard right toward my leg, but there was another bolt closer to my leg, and that I reasoned would stop the blade.
Well the other bolt was a bolt head only, and when that blade broke through the sawsall blade stuck clear up to the bone in my leg. I went inside the house and took a bulb type thing, filled it full of alcohol, and stuck it a couple inches in my leg and squeezed it. Mr. that alcohol got my attention.
No Dr. Mercola or Dr. Brownstein.
Importin A confabulates to the protease uptake recessor causing a residual upflux of pepertin-34 which supresses the auto-flotabulary response usually inhibited by latent potaliosis.
OR its killing parasites
Thank you!!!!!

Well, since viruses do not exist in the first place, this cannot be how Ivermectin works to heal people who are sick.
Ivermectin does seem to be beneficial, though.
Here is a paper published in 2012 stating that Ivermectin helps inhibit the Importin A role, but it was all done in vitro, not in vivo. Therefore, any conclusions are suspect, at best.
In addition, the paper is focused on HIV, which also does not exist. Therefore, we are really talking about Ivermectin's effect in vitro on poisoned cells (the ONLY kind used in virus testing of any kind). So, it doesn't mean anything, really.

However, it might be possible that Ivermectin helps get proteins into cells at a greater rate than would happen without it, and that is how it is beneficial. Just spitballing, though.
Here is a 2020 study on ivermectin and a number of other viruses:

Whatever they are it's clearly doing something to stop them
So people get sore throats, coughs, sniffles, sneezing, runny noses, etc from?
This may also be why ivermectin has shown effectiveness with some cancers also
The messenger proteins also seem to allow for the spread of inflammation between cells which is why SSRIs like fluvoxamine are highly effective covid treatments.
Gotta love them bouncers
