Thank you! That’s a heck of a quandary they’ve put the healthcare industry in! Almost a Catch-22, if they continue accepting CMS patients they could potentially lose staff to the point they can’t operate. If they drop CMS patients they have a revenue gap they might not be able to fill.
I don’t think this ruling considered the impact on CMS patients who might well find themselves with very limited healthcare provider options.
They have been padding their revenue streams since covid started, and upped it with the latest "variant" and all the people freaking out from all the testing, going to the hospitals and probably being admitted as covid patients when they would otherwise be told to go home.
