And most people get the toxoplasma gondii parasite from house cats. Some studies say the majority of cat owners are infected and don't know it. The real danger is for pregnant women and the immunocompromised.
There's more to it than that. There's good evidence to show that it changes behavior, particularly risk-taking behavior, in anyone. Here's a meta-analysis about its role in increasing traffic accidents: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29906469/ That's a big implication right there. But given that it hasn't been studied extensively except in cats and mice, this study alone shows that it could have more wide-ranging effects. I don't know if it does, but given the parasite PDF circulating, I wouldn't be surprised if it were linked to increased sexual promiscuity, or gambling, or other cabal-sponsored types of societal degradation.
Also, lots of cultures treat cats as pests instead of pets. I don't hate cats myself, but I think toxoplasmosis likely has something to do with cultural tendencies of disliking cats.
From cat shit. Not from the cat itself.
