All the mountain passes in my neck were already at record level snowpack before new years hit. As far as I know, we've been in a cooling trend for nearly 100 years here on Earth.
I miss it (lived there in 80’s) but look what it’s become? Still have many friends there & they’re always asking me to visit…I still may? I loved hiking the Cascades 👍🏽
Gimme some fucking snow please. My plow trucks have been sitting idle here in SE Michigan while the storms hit all around us. North South East and West all have had storms. Most snow weve seen is 3 inches one time. Total may be 6 or 8 all year. We should be 30+ inches by now.
This storm today screams out of Canada west of me with 6 to 12, and then turns and drops 6 inches just south of me and then turns again to the north just east of me. Like a big fucking circle.
Oh, but don't you see? The warmer temperatures are causing the low pressure systems from the Arctic to be sucked farther south, thus causing massive snow and ice storms down the entire eastern seaboard of the US. The colder it gets, the more it proves that global warming is a threat to us all. /s
I looked back at historical weather records for my area and many of the January high temps were back in the 30’s, otherwise scattered around the last 100 years with no trend apparent. These headlines are once again lies sprinkled with a little truth.
Where I am it's -5 outside at 2 pm without counting the windchill factor. I wish global warming would hurry the fuck up because I'm tired of the air trying to kill me.
The weather is all fucked up. Here at the California-Oregon border we were bombed on with heavy snow for a little over a week. So much snow it was knocking down trees. The last week has been clear skies 60 degree temps. It's another warm, spring feeling winter that suddenly switches to blizzard conditions. The info in the OPs post seems contradicting, and it is, but it's also true.
The weather is so fucked up that it is a warm winter with tons of snow.
Unfortunately that sort of weather still contributes to drought conditions because when it warms up like this after a blizzard the snow at the peaks melts away. That snow should stay there until July slowly releasing water to the rivers but it willll be gone by next Wednesday if this warm weather persists.
You're absolutely right as I pointed out in my post where I live w just had blizzard conditions, but now it's spring conditions. That means all the snow that should remain on the peaks until July slowly feeding the river will actually melt by next week. The climate is crazy, switching back and forth with extremes but it seems to be an overall warming trend.
It is like driving down river on the hwy here. You are driving down hill and will eventually hit sea level, but because it is hilly country there will be times when you are driving up hill and gaining elevation while you are driving predominantly down hill.
What I've seen in my lifetime is extreme climate change.
I grew up in the redwoods where it was so foggy and cold all summer that you had to wear cold weather clothes and could not see across the street. It is in those conditions that redwoods thrive, and that they require. The trees in the forest would get ten inches of precipitation in the summer just from fog dripping off their needles
Now it is sunny and windy and dry, with some days of over cast or fog. Not the climate that supports redwoods.
Out here where I am now just a bit inland it typically reaches over 105 to close to 120 deflgrees all summer. Should be 85-95. Coniferous forest with a major fire every year, one burned 40% of my towns homes two years ago.
The spring showers didn't even come in last springit was 95 degrees with nothing but sun and wind until June which is when the 105+ temps hit and the town was nearly evacuated again due to fire.
You've got to be a complete retard to not see that the climate has changed
Whatever the cause of the change is I don't know no do believe geoengineering has alot to do with it. Different govt purposely fucking with the climate, but heat and pullutants also play a role. One way or another if the system of things that hay the world is now using stopped suddenly, total collapse of govt and economy I believe that the changing climate would also suddenly stop and would normalize quite rapidly

Yes. Snoqualmie, White, Stevens, chinook all FUCKED. I feel like a little kid about it, been some excellent powder to shred this season.
Nice! (On the powder). I used to hate getting “stranded” west of the Cascades.
Stranded is a good way to put it lol I don't travel there by choice anymore.

It's the slow warming that's causing the cooling...didn't you know?

and yet it only happens in the coldest months of the year. people actually believe this shit...?
Remember folks. According to "science" global warming causes extreme cold.
THATS HOW YOU KNOW ITS WARMING XD couldn't help myself

It’s because CO2 has little to do with these weather phenomena. The earth is losing its magnetic field rapidly as the poles reverse.
Shit I didn’t know about the snow this weekend

I think you're confusing climate, and weather.
Maybe your Common Core “indoctrination” failed you? Does it hurt being so effin tarded?

Yes, because the OP doesn't understand the difference between climate and local weather.
Global “warming” is a carbon tax Gore-hoax retard.
