According to the U.S. Constitution, there can be no treason without a war, and there can be no war without a declaration by Congress. This isn't 1984 where the media gets to decide the enemy du jour. Does anyone on the left read the Constitution?
Possibly- Could be considered biological warfare, with all that entails. That puts anyone responsible for gain of function research (meaning: can we cause a virus to cross species or do something it couldn't naturally) in the cross-fire. Technically, however, since Congress is responsible to declare wars against nations, it does not. A President can boycott trade, declare embargos, limit travel to and from, because these are not considered to be open acts of war. Blockades, bombings and other open acts of warfare are unavailable Constitutionally without a declaration of war by Congress.

If they do, they actively oppose both it and the Bill of Rights. (Same applies to Neo-cons!)
So question - since Trump declared war on the virus (in a certain way) does that count?

They read just enough of it to say "we have to change that at all costs"
