The dems are a loose coalition of groups who fundamentally hate each other. They range from the AOCs who are new school left to the Pelosis and Schumers who are old school left to the race husrlers, sexual degenerates, and all the way to the mildly left but from a red state people like Sinema and Manchin. The last two are the only ones more interested in serving their constituents so they can get reelected than they are in butt fucking the country.
Here's the thing. The dems weren't always this insane. The party, 20 years ago, wasn't generally this nuts. They wouldn't deliberately act to destroy the country. Things have changed but there's still a sane 2%. With their margins as small as they are that sane 2% is enough to stop them.
If you dig into how Newt Gingrich saved the Senate, you will find that dems have always been corrupt party usurping power when unchecked. But it goes far far back. If you check the history of KKK you will see they were created by the Dems to ensure newly enfranchised blacks would not vote for Republicans.
