carhartt get no further sales from our family and our company.... what they're doing is criminal! all they had to do is keep making great products and shut their mouths... once they side with the devil, we can no longer support them.
They need to be made an example of. They not only said they are keeping the mandate in place for employees, BUT THAT THEY CONSIDERED A MANDATE FOR FAMILIES OF EMPLOYEES!!
I feel kind of sorry for the retailers who are now stuck with Carhartt stuff that won't sell, but otherwise I agree with the boycott and I hope Carhartt feels the pain.
I don’t know the specifics: When retailers can’t sell their merchandise they send it to stores like TJ Maxx, Marshals, Home Goods, Ross, Gabe’s or Gabriel’s (depending on what region of USA), Burkes, Burlington Coat Outtel, etc.
More than likely they get a tax break on items they don’t sell & send those items to these types of stores. They might not be making the outrageous
60-90% retail markup but I doubt they are loosing money. The markups on retail, especially clothes is ridiculous! If it wasn’t for the stores I listed I would be paying full retail. At those reduced prices it’s still too much!
I don’t feel sorry for large corporations and especially clothing companies. They are making billions while people in other countries work in poor conditions making very little money.
Carhartt, the Made-in-the-USA, company says right on their website that non-core apparel is made in China. Not sure that would be the reason, but there’s something there, there. It makes zero sense they’ve given themselves the death penalty.
Boycott them forever. Sticks fork in them, their dead Jim.
Do you want your money going to the DNC? Pretty much what no heart is supporting. If you ever buy again it is sort of like donating to the Clinton foundation.
A competitor option was discussed in a previous thread. Most, at least that I've looked at, are mandating as well. The jury is still out i believe unless I missed it.
I can't find the video that is on here somewhere but it explains how Blackrock is loaning money to the corporations that go woke. It's always follow the money.
I am a Sr Engineer and work for NASA. When you work with flight equipment, no buttons allowed. So my “uniform dress code” is jeans and a t-shirt with a pocket. Pocket is optional. To avoid any conflict, the T-shirt’s are plain colored, heavy duty.
They USED TO BE Carhart. Dozens of them
Now they are being replaced; and none of them will be Carhart. Lots of T-shirt’s at the plants. This was a poor decision made by management that doesn’t have a clue who their customers are
So where the fuck were all these people who support boycotting Carhartt when the healthcare system in our country was and IS firing people for not taking the jab??? People are more concerned about a fucking clothing brand than there own fucking healthcare system.

I will not purchase any more of your product henceforth for the following reason.
In my opinion, Carhartt has no right to make law (policy) in the absence of law, especially when it violates religious and personal health beliefs. It is clearly an overreach and tyrannical in character. Demanding that someone be vaccinated with a drug classified by the FDA as 'experimental' (Doe et al. v. Austin) under EAU classification may be the unlicensed practice of medicine. Carhartt, Inc. and management are inferred as not medical practitioners and insured as such. Henceforth, Carhardt, Inc. may be held liable.

To intimidate an employee to get injected by the threat of firing may be also be liable for 'coercion'. This may also be unlawful and a crime.

"If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; ...
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death."
After the recent Supreme Court ruling against OSHA many legal experts are now saying the lawsuits are going to come. An employment lawyer who works at one of the largest employment lawyer firms has echoed the same words. He said it will take time, but there's a new tobacco industry class action lawsuits on the horizon.
Starbucks recently nixed their vaccine mandate, Carhartt would be wise to do the same.

...you have to do what you feel is proper...
...in this case, you "vote" with your wallet....
They need to be made an example of. They not only said they are keeping the mandate in place for employees, BUT THAT THEY CONSIDERED A MANDATE FOR FAMILIES OF EMPLOYEES!!
BOYCOTT THEM OUT OF EXISTENCE!!
...take the poison and watch your family slowly die, or just watch your family starve to death....
Amen. Absolutely.

...personally, I find "boycotts" boorish...
...like you stated, the little guys are the ones that get trampled underfoot....

The well-made and very comfy Carhartt shirt I'm wearing right now was made in Guatemala. The one I wore yesterday was made in Pakistan.
The world is full of stupid people...
...many sit on corporate boards....
Best alternatives?
PS: still haven’t bought Gillette and won’t ever again
I already boycott any American company that manufactures their products in China….Carhartt is one one them
Even if Carhartt row back on their mandated policy they should still get boycotted forever!
Game over for them. Assholes showed their hand!
...once bitten twice shy....
Do the same for keurig dr pepper please. Their corporate employees are required to be vaxxed by feb14.. in Texas
...hackles up...
...growls....
Already have. Got jacket from another vendor. Fuck them.
Boycott them forever. Sticks fork in them, their dead Jim.

Think sheeple!
Do they have an America first competitor?

..."here, take this "gift", all we want in return is your soul"....
It's time for me to get a new coat. I've had Carhartts since 2000 and will not buy another one based on their wokeness.
...I have been using Army surplus coats for years...
...make sure you get the liner, warm, dry, and wears like iron....
I'll have to find a surplus store. That or check out what Duluth Trading has.
...we are blessed to have a genuine Army Surplus store only 20 miles away...
...you can get anything from MREs, socks or a deuce and a half there....
We had one about half an hour away but they closed their doors when the WuFlu crap started.
I'm looking into theBEARSKIN clothing line... I don't know if they've gone woke, but I'm checking them out...

Boycott them after they break, because fuck them.
How annoying, another brand I've never heard of so my boycotting doesn't matter🐸Now that I know though, I'll be sure to diss them!
So where the fuck were all these people who support boycotting Carhartt when the healthcare system in our country was and IS firing people for not taking the jab??? People are more concerned about a fucking clothing brand than there own fucking healthcare system.
