Here's something to consider for those of you that are not religious or on the fence.
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
Logically either all religions are either false or only ONE is true since they conflict.
If one is true and the world is being run by evil that is lying to us then that true religion would be disproportionally attacked while false ones would be left alone or encouraged.
I can only think of one religion that is attacked above all others.... Christianity.
If it's being attacked / misrepresented by the people trying to enslave / kill me then it must be a threat to them / their plans.
Ergo you should examine Christianity.
here's something else: love and wisdom (ok, that's two). We're going to need it to establish a good base in this awakening, one that's a bedrock solid foundation for the future. And that stuff is the highly effective ingredient at keeping foundation cracks from forming.
Love and wisdom are both teachings of Christianity. Go read Proverbs. Action-packed with wisdom.
I know anon, I'm a big fan of it.
Proverbs was not created by Christianity.
Yet it is included in it, to give it validity.
Proverbs has validity thanks to King Hezekiah, and his work to promote it.
Various early Christian groups included Proverbs in their canon, in order to give their version of Christianity validity. Those group who did not include it, such as Marcionism, Gnosticism, and others, have since died out.
Only if you reject what Christianity means and get dishonestly miotic.
Same God, same inspiration, part of the Christian Bible.
King Solomon, the principle author of Proverbs was not a Christian. He did not believe in Jesus, nor the Trinity.
He also mentions a different salvation plan in Kings 8:35-36. Speaking about the Israelites being exiled to different places, he says: "...if they direct their prayers toward this area, and praise Your name, and return from their sins ... and You will forgive Your servants and Your nation Israel...".
Christianity is the ONLY "religion" that "preaches" both.
How about acknowledging the basic premises: Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
It is very simple. Once we understand that a relation with the " higher " whatever you want to call it, is based on a personal experience, and not a function of state or a function that falls to a religious zealot, we might have a chance at building a rift free society.
When it comes to discussions on this topic, a discussions can be had, there indeed is a need to admit that every one will have to bear the responsibility of how this pursuit of happiness is taking form.
The question, whether calling someone who is of a different opinion on the metaphysical stupid, while exhibiting the same or worse quality in logical reasoning, is conforming to the above three mentioned values, and, in this particular instance, rises to the level of despicable fool, remains to be answered by the perpetrator himself.
